The main reason for the appearance of dark facial hair is hormonal changes. These shifts can also increase hair growth in other areas of the body.

Another factor is the illusion created after waxing. You get used to smooth, hair-free skin, and under good lighting, it might seem like there’s more hair or that it appears darker. This is simply a perception issue.

Are you getting ready for your first leg waxing?

Here are my recommendations to help you prepare for sugaring or waxing:
After your last shave, wait 10-14 days before your appointment.
Avoid scrubbing your legs 2-3 days before the procedure. If you’d like to exfoliate, do it 5-7 days beforehand.
Skip body creams or shower gels a day before your appointment. Save them for after your session.

Remember, preparation for depilation is the first important step towards smooth and healthy skin!
